# 10m disk utilization

Hi guys good afternoon, i’m recieving this messages since 10 days ago,i want to know if its something to worry about or i can ignore it.

**10min disk utilization = 92%**   
the percentage of time the disk was busy, during the last 10 minutesALARM  
sdaFAMILY  
WARNINGSEVERITY  
Sun Nov 6 02:46:25 MST 2022TIME

The alarm is calculated based on the data from `disk_util.sda`. Please read the description of the chart

> Disk Utilization measures the amount of time the disk was busy with something. This is not related to its performance. 100% means that the system always had an outstanding operation on the disk. Keep in mind that depending on the underlying technology of the disk, 100% here may or may not be an indication of congestion.

You can most likely ignore it unless you are using a disk with a legacy controller.
