# About the Migration

If this forum looks unfamiliar, it’s because we just migrated to a new platform 🥳 . Being true to our roots, this is another Open-Source project, called Discourse. Thanks for everything Nodebb 🙇‍♂️ 🙇‍♀️

## Welcome to the new Netdata Community

- In the migration, we lost some information, including your profile picture. Please upload a new one. It’s nice to talk to faces or avatars and not initials.

- We have restructured the categories in the forum.

- The Forums and Github are used for very different uses, so kindly read [Github and Community Forums in Netdata](https://community.netdata.cloud/t/github-discourse-topic/465/2)
