Dear, I’m trying to get an email automatic when my configured alarms go off. Hey, So the issue appears that you are testing the alarm-notify script, but you haven’t setup the alerts > **[Alarm notifications | Learn Netdata](https://learn.netdata.cloud/docs/agent/health/notifications)** > > Reference documentation for Netdata's alarm notification feature, which supports dozens of endpoints, user roles, and more. Almost all MTAs provide a sendmail interface. ---

Dear, Maybe it is good to say that I’m using custom alerts. Netadta by default will execute the `alarm-notify.sh` script every time an alert is triggered. If you haven’t configured that script, no notifications will be sent. For email, you should follow the following guide. Thanks for your replies @OdysLam, I finaly fixed the problem. Had to reclaim the node and it worked just fine. Kind regards, Gino
