# How to compile a minimal netdata agent program through netdata source code

We plan to transplant netdata to the embedded development board for use. The development board runs the netdata agent program, so we hope to be able to compile a minimal netdata agent program. Is there any reference material to guide me to compile netdata agent;

It would be better if there is a complete set of operating instructions, including netdata proxy and cloud configuration
