Hi, I have edited the health.d/net.conf files and changed the to: line to silent on some of the checks.
I don’t get emails from them, but they still show up as alerts both on the local and cloud dashboards. Is this the intended behavior? I expected silent to be… well silent 🙂

Running 1.42.1 agent on debian 12.

Hi @etoel

Yes, this is intentional. It only “mutes” the notifications. If you wish to not run this particular alert at all, then you an disable it in netdata.conf using the `enabled alarms` configuration option. More information here → [Daemon configuration | Learn Netdata](https://learn.netdata.cloud/docs/configuring/daemon-configuration#health-section-options)

Thank you, that makes sense. The enable alarm option worked perfectly.
