# When updating an alert from the UI, where does it save it? (it isn't under health.d)

When updating an alert from the UI, where does it save it? (it isn’t under health.d)

Hi @Slind14.  
Any configuration changed made from the UI is saved on agent internal files and they are not supposed to managed or changed manually.  
If you want to manage/changed configuration files manually, you can edit configs in /etc/netdata.

This did not work for this particular one (worked for fine for other alert updates). [Disable cgroup\_ram\_in\_use alerts for specific service](https://community.netdata.cloud/t/disable-cgroup-ram-in-use-alerts-for-specific-service/5917)

Hence I wanted to see how it saves this specific one.
