Hello, I tried installing Netdata for the first time using the one-line installer script and it fails to start immediately after. I’m running Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS x86_64 with the 6.2.0-36-generic kernel, Netdata v1.43.2 and below is the systemctl output for the Netdata service. netdata.service - Real…

Could you please share your error.log, or at least some part of it, at the time you do a start of the service and it crashes?

Also, if possible, could you try a nightly version of Netdata to see if it has the same issue?

Thanks. Nothing though weird up to that point. Is what you pasted there the last entry in error.log, and then starts logging again? How soon does it crash after start? Could you check please after deleting /var/cache/netdata/* ?

Hi @Levi Could you please also share a part of the collector.log ? Could you also try to create a netdata.conf if you don’t have one already, and in section [plugins] disable proc? I.e. proc = no ?

@Levi please do same steps I suggested in a different thread. Don’t disable proc, we need Netdata to crash.
