I’m completely new on Netdata, please be kind. 
The bottom line is that I want a monitoring tool running on my own server (VPS) and be sure it doesn’t sent any data outside. Thanks you to help me to understand how and if this is possible.
I understand I can run on my own server the "Netdata agent”.
However it look like this will be a “root” installation at the root of the server.
I would like to install it contained inside a virtual server under specific user. (I use Virtualmin)
Also I noted the section "Netdata Cloud related options”.
By default the Netdata agent shouldn’t send anything outside, is that confirmed ?
