Good afternoon everyone,
Hopefully this is an easy one to resolve. I’m creating a few go.d/ping collector jobs via the Cloud UI (Netdata Business), and I think I named one incorrectly which resulted in a broken ‘jobs’ UI, preventing me from renaming/editing/deleting the job. I used a slash character in the name of this job (let’s say I called it “ABC/DEF” to keep it anonymous), and while the job still appears to run and collect metrics as expected, it seems to have disappeared from the ‘ping’ section of the UI and replaced it with numerous other incorrect ones (see screenshot).
Since these are all cloud configured, I cannot edit the ping.conf file to fix the job name. I tried doing some API actions via curl, but I didn’t get far with that and wanted to check in with the community before I broke anything else. Should this be reported as a bug? I would expect that if a “/” character is not allowed for a job name, the config validator would have caught it.
Let me know if anyone needs additional information!
