When adding an alert from a select chart (Chart → bell icon → manage alert → add alert). This brings up the configuration page and then “Submit to all Nodes”. I would presume it would push this alert to all nodes now and appear as a running alert.
The alerts are the box standard from the chart and not edited in any way, then shouldn’t be a need to create an alert on the host.
