We are having issues with one of our applications randomly closing/dropping connections to an Oracle database. Would it be possible to utilize the oracle db collector to aid in determining the root cause?
What might be a strategy to do so?

I’d say it should be possible to just set up the collector with some simple default setting and run some little experiments to see maybe:
I would imagine the closing or dropping connections should show up in some of the default charts - session count and logons maybe and some of the other usage charts.
