I have setup the metric retention on my parent node, but I can’t see the metrics are retained on the parent node for its respective Childs.

on this Streaming and retaining long term metrics - #5 by Vicky_Ingle thread the Netdata is aware of 4 children connected in 1 parent. So in your overview and ofc in the the nodes tab you should be able to see all 5 nodes and their metrics. Could you elaborate a little bit more on what you are looking for and you can’t find it?

Hope you are doing well and thank you for your response.
I’m not able to see the metrics retained for 90 days.
All the metrics are sent to the parent node and I have configured the parent node to retain the metrics for 90 days, so I assume all the 90 days metrics including the child nodes will be retained for 90days.
Looks like the configuration I have on the nodes are not correct, I have followed the documentation and have done as instructed, not sure where the missing piece is.
Also is there a way to see the number of days the metrics are retained as per the configuration in the dashboard or in the overview section?
