Per host configuration

Hi

Does netdata configuration allows config files to differ per host name? I went via docs + google search but could not find anything like this

This could even be done via e.g. a directory such, e.g. conf.d.HOSTNAME/go.d./file.conf which only be used when the current short hostname is HOSTNAME.

I know about anislble and similar, but prefer to not run and use a new tool for such a simple thing.

Thanks!

Netdata currently has no centralized configuration management for individual Netdata Agent instances. Each one simply uses the files on the host it’s running on for configuration. In practice, this usually means whatever is in /etc/netdata, with defaults found in /usr/lib/netdata/conf.d.
