SNS Cloud Notifications not being published

Nodes: 6
Rooms:

  • Servers - 5 nodes
  • PCs - 1 node

Issue:

  • I have setup an SNS topic for notifications and created a configuration for all notification types and all nodes (see screenshot below)
  • When I “Test” the notification config (using the Test button in the modal), I receive a test message via SNS, however, after saving the notification and shutting down one of my nodes for a few minutes (2 minute default delay for Reachability), I don’t receive any messages to the SNS topic.
  • I have only been testing node availability because it’s easy to trigger, however, I am also not getting Warning notifications via SNS either for warnings that occur on any nodes (3 in the last 24h).
  • I have also setup a configuration for Discord (screenshot below) and I am receiving Available and Unavailable notifications successfully.
  • Email notifications are also working correctly.

We found a bug that was blocking SNS notification from being sent.
The good news is that it’s already addressed and everything should be working as expected now.
