Have data visualised on a custom site's graph?

Hi,

I’ve been trying to create a dashboard to be displayed on a TV.
I’ve already found this: Custom dashboards | Learn Netdata
But it seems that I need to have my own Netdata hosted for this, right?

Is it possible to have i.e. a node’s CPU usage displayed on a graph somewhere on the internet?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @Tudvari ,

Thanks for raising this question on our forums.

Let me first try to understand your requirement, you want to display a node’s CPU usage on same page you will be hosting somewhere?

If this is the case, you will need to have the Netdata Agent installed on the node you want to monitor and, following that example from our docs, you are able to create/add the charts to an html page you want using the Agent’s dashboard.js file (Custom dashboards | Learn Netdata).

Let me know if this is what you are searching or not.

Oh, now I see, every agent publishes that dashboard.js, on a default of 19999 port.

The doc said “Netdata server listens at” so I thought this is for the self-hosted Netdata Cloud or something

Glad that I could help. I raised this issue, with documentation not being clear, internally to see if we need amend something.

Not sure if you are aware, feel free also to propose any documentation changes that you see fit you can do it directly on any page on the “Edit this page”
