We are beginning to test and explore the solution, and we have the following question:
We have a server where one of the power supplies has failed, and we haven’t received any alerts/notifications.
What is the best procedure or the correct configuration to ensure we receive these types of alerts/notifications?

For server power supply monitoring, IPMI (Intelligent Platform Management Interface) is the recommended approach.
Please follow the documentation steps in order to:
Install the freeipmi plugin
Configure IPMI credentials in netdata.conf
Then, restart Netdata.
(The default ipmi_sensor_state alert will automatically trigger when power supply sensors enter warning or critical states)
