Missing statistics like 'users'

Problem/Question

At this moment I’m monitoring six servers with Netdata.cloud. On two of them, I’m missing important sections, like ‘Users’.

Relevant docs you followed/actions you took to solve the issue

I’ve read the documentation on Collectors configuration reference | Learn Netdata. I followed thre instructions and checked netdata.conf and enable the required collectors. However, my netdata.conf doesn’t contain a section about plugins. It’s a very short file, only listing ‘run as user’, ‘page cache size’, ‘dbengine multihost disk space’ and ‘hostname’.

There is no go.d.conf file present.

I’ve updated packages and rebooted the server.

Environment/Browser/Agent’s version etc

Version: netdata v1.39.0-97-nightly
Ubuntu 20.04 (LTS) x64

What I expected to happen

On other servers, which are set up in nearly identically, I do have the section ‘Users’. And if memory serves me correct, there was a ‘Users’ section for this node before.

Hi, @RickHeijster. Check dpkg -l | grep netdata - if netdata-plugins-apps is missing do this.
