- Is there a way to send some logs to netdata to store with timestamp. These are simple strings like service started, node rebooted, user logged in etc along with a timestamp. How can we do this with an external plugin.
It would be great if we could log of these events just like alarm logs.
It’s not that simple unfortunately. What you can do with the collectors we have now is something like the weblog collector, where you parse the log and generate log-based metrics. We started a side project to add basic log support but it is temporarily paused, until we can get some new people to continue the work.
