I tried to move all my nodes to another space, I created a new one and deleted the old one and since then I’m unable to sign in to my Netdata Cloud account, I’m getting redirected to the same login page every time I try to login either using Google or Github, I even tried email without success, I had two nodes in my space, I still can access the nodes directly but since some features require cloud, I want to restore/recreated my account
Hi @Haroune_Mohammedi,
I can see you have an account associated with a single space, there’s no need for restore/recreate. From the Cloud side everything looks correct.
Could you try to login with a different browser and check if the problem persists?
Thank you for your response @car12o
I indeed was able to delete and recreate my account, but I’m not able to correctly connect one of the nodes, for some reason, I can’t see historical data from one node but it works as expected for the other
Here’s a screenshot, I can’t even access the last hour data but the live data is streaming just fine
I tried to “Reconnect” the node following the documentation here and now I can’t even sign in, here’s a video showing what’s happening Watch 2025-03-24 15-14-41 | Streamable
But I can still access the live data from this node in the my cloud account !
Got it, thanks for sharing the video.
We will try to address it asap.
Hey @Haroune_Mohammedi can you try deleting browser cache, cookies etc or try from incognito window? Do you still face the same issue?
I’m able to sign in using an incognito window but I still can’t see the historical data before the re-connection of the node to the cloud, but live data is being streamed just fine
Claiming a node to the Cloud doesn’t change agent data retention, also agent data is not streamed to the Cloud but rather the Cloud queries the agent in real time to display data on the Cloud UI.
So do you see more data on the agent dashboard than on the Cloud?
Exactly, I can see the whole history in the agent but not in the Cloud
Could you share both screenshots, one from the agent and another from Cloud?
I think the problem is the scale you are comparing both charts.
Could you please set the same time window for both charts? You can do it at the date time picker in the top right corner.
I lost access to the Cloud now, I’m back to the infinite loop when trying to sing in
So now charts matching, everything is good regarding historical data, right?
About the infinite loop, we will take a look.
No, it’s not, the cloud is missing half the data, let me re-post the screenshots side-by-side
Agent:
Cloud:
I think on the agent dashboard, we are seeing data from more than one node since it’s selected the metrics
tab which aggregates all nodes.
You could either:
- select the single node view tab as you are doing on Cloud
- select
metrics
tab but group the chart by node
I’m AFK now, I’ll do that whenever I’m back home
