ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR :19999 not work / proxmox

HI

have now gone through the instructions https://learn.netdata.cloud/docs/installing/ and have installed in proxmox (shell) that

wget -O /tmp/netdata-kickstart.sh https://my-netdata.io/kickstart.sh && sh /tmp/netdata-kickstart.sh --stable-channel --disable-telemetry

when calling my server ip: with port 19999 i get the message

This website cannot provide a secure connection
195.xxx.xxx.xxx has sent an invalid response.

Try to run Windows network diagnostics.
ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR

then i search for permissions of the files… they should be set in /usr/share/netdata/web/index.html

but in my case there is no /web folder but /usr/share/netdata/www/ with many subfolders

am i wrong ? is the instruction old ? what am i doing wrong :wink: thanks

Hey, @ledled. I think you are using https:// when accessing IP:19999, but it is not HTTPS. Try http://IP:19999.
