I’ve been trying to monitor wether a program(NX-Witness) is running or not.
I’ve already tried editing the apps_groups.conf with the following:
However this didn’t do anything for me
I also want to send an alarm if NX-Witness stopped running.

Replace the whitespace with dash, underscore, ot dot in the group name. You can use the apps.uptime chart to monitor if the program is running.

Linking the program to the chart worked 
However can you help me with setting up an alarm for when the program ‘NX-Witness’ stops running?
I guess you have to make a new file within the health.d folder but I don’t really now how to write that alarm
