Not sending CLEAR to Alerta.io

hi,
got a netdata setup sending alerts to alerta.io installation.
i get warnings and critical just fine but no clear seems to be sent from netdata server

health.log
2022-11-30 00:08:53: [connect]: Alert event for [ipv4.tcphandshake.10s_ipv4_tcp_resets_sent], value [925.1 tcp resets/s], status [WARNING].
2022-11-30 00:09:13: [connect]: Sending notification for alarm ‘ipv4.tcphandshake.10s_ipv4_tcp_resets_sent’ status WARNING.
2022-11-30 00:09:23: [connect]: Alert event for [ipv4.tcphandshake.10s_ipv4_tcp_resets_sent], value [115.2 tcp resets/s], status [CLEAR].

thats it for this, and the warning is not removed from alerta.io.

got no example right now for critical.

any ideas? have ive missed any configurations?

Hi @ic3cool!

This specific alert (you can check it’s configuration, depending on your setup most likely in /usr/lib/netdata/conf.d/health.d/tcp_resets.conf) has an option: options: no-clear-notification.

You can check the logic behind this behavior in Health configuration reference | Learn Netdata

If you need it, you can remove this option by creating a custom copy of this alert. More information on this can be found here → Configure health alarms | Learn Netdata
