Understanding memory usage metrics

At the top of the screen it shows the memory usage as

!1604476985680-982e7921-835d-45bd-af0f-fc3981ec238b-image.png

But further down when I go to System Overview -> RAM it gives me below stats (note, this is a 16GB RAM VM)

!1604477092901-bb7929b2-8b14-4d6f-b821-4568aebb2d2d-image.png

Then if i go to Memory section it shows me
!1604477136831-6e5e93f7-13d4-41dc-b152-4caedeb6fb07-image.png

I am confused about the information presented in these 3.

Any insight would be highly appreciated.

A good explanation of the breakdown of those dimensions (free, used, cached, buffers, available) is here: https://man7.org/linux/man-pages/man1/free.1.html
