error on claimed node on the cloud

Hi there,

I had used the claim node link provided by the Netdata cloud, to install a node.

After that I’m try:

netdata -W buildinfo or netdata -v

and the output are:

netdata: error while loading shared libraries: libuv.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I had tried this command to solve the problem:

ldconfig -v

But no success at all.

Any idea?

Hi @Leandro_Aguiar !

Can you share a bit more about your setup? OS version, install type, etc. ?

Most likely, depending on your distribution, installing libuv might solve the problem.

Hi @Manolis_Vasilakis,

CentOS 7.9, I had used the link that the cloud gaves to me to ADD new node.

It’s a VPS with 96 GB RAM and 32 cores.

Thank you @Manolis_Vasilakis … this was my case, installing on Almalinux 8. dnf install libuv then systemctl restart netdata and to check it’s ok systemctl status netdata.
